Born in Tbilisi (Republic of Georgia) in 1967, Eugenia Kikodze lives and works in Moscow. She graduated with honors in Art History from Moscow State University in 1989. Kikodze is a member of AICA (International Association of Art Critics, since 1997). Her extensive experience includes lecturing on the history of modern art at Moscow State University, working as research assistant at the State Tretyakov Gallery, heading the workshops department at the National Center for Contemporary Art, and serving as art director at Guelman Gallery. In 2005-2006 she was art director at the Contemporary City Foundation. In the past 15 years she has curated more than 30 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. She is a widely published author of essays and articles on contemporary art.
